The Art Market, a creative platform established by Image Ark in collaboration with the Yellow House, is going to organise a special edition of the market as part of the ongoing Kathmandu Triennale on Saturday. The monthly art market has been providing artists with a space to come together and market their work.
Speaking to the Post about the special edition of the market, Pranidhi Tuladhar of Image Ark, said, “This edition of the Art market is very special because we are not just hosting a market but also a live art performance by Abiral-The Arts Group.” She added, “Besides, the performance, we also have artists who will be selling their art pieces as well as their other merchandises along with our usual vendors.” Artist Aditya Aryal’s and Fusion Art Gallery’s stalls are few among the new addition to the usual art market.
The stalls at the art market will be selling products designed in Nepal such as prints, cards, paintings, posters, designer products, jewelry and other creations.
Some vendors at the market include Srijanalaya, KU Center for Art and Design, Image Ark, Bottles to Beads, Photo Circle, Nepal Picture Library, ArtLab, Quixote’s Cove, Sattya Media Collective, Kastamandap Studio, Artree, Kazi Studio, Primila Bajracharya, and Ishine.
