Albatross perform at South by Southwest in the US

South by Southwest (SXSW), an annual set of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences with its inception in 1987, has been graced by the likes of notables such as Big Star, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, and Bruce Springsteen, among others. Perfoming at the present edition of the fest, the Nepali 4-piece alternative rock ensemble, kicked off the V-ROX official SXSW showcase on March 19 and offered renditions of some of their best hits. The band was followed by Victim Mentality from South Korea, Vietnamese female rapper Suboi and an electronic DJ from Japan, Emufucka with the talented German artist Laura Carbone headlining the show.
SXSW 2016 began on March 11 and will continue through March 20.
On March 11, President Barack Obama gave a speech at the festival, in which he called on the technology industry to help solve many of America’s problems, such as upgrading outdated networks, helping balance security and privacy, and the FBI–Apple encryption dispute.
Albatross, who are currently on a US tour, Gari Khana Deu 2016, have already played in venues in San Francisco, Phoenix and Austin.
