Kathmandu
The film, directed and produced by Tsering Rhitar Sherpa, is centred around a couple with two daughters who lead a modest life in Kathmandu. Wanting to have a son, the wife becomes pregnant again and delivers one. But when her baby boy dies, the couple turn to a spiritual healer for help.
The film was released in 1999. The screenplay of the movie was written by Kesang Tseten, while Nhyoo Bajracharya composed its songs.
The film stars Ratan Subedi, Mithila Sharma, Gauri Malla, Gavri Bajracharya and Nirmal Pyakurel.
