Speaking at a programme organised in Phidim, Laxman Gamnage, president of Sisnopani Nepal, said that corrupt people go scot-free in Nepal.
After Gamnage, it was the turn of another renowned comedian, Manoj Gajurel, to present his analysis of current Nepali politics, which he did with much sarcasm. For about 45 minutes, the comedian went on targeting corrupt politicians, one after another, and entertaining the crowd with his hilarious assessments of the ongoing political games.
Along with Gamnage and Gajurel, Shishir Yogi, Arjun Parajuli, Kamalikanta Bhetwal, Prem Ojha and Umesh Aryal, among others, spared no words in criticising rampant corruption and other unethical practices that have become the norm in Nepal.
