Actor Bhuwan KC, also known as the evergreen actor in the Nepali film industry, is all set to release his biography. Ghostwriting Nepal, his publishers, organised a press meet at the City Max Multiplex Hall, Bagbazar, on Monday and handed him a cheque of Rs 2,35,000 as an advance for the book.

KC, who started out as a singer in Radio Nepal, went on to play lead roles in more the 100 films in his 30-year-long movie career. Some of his memorable movies include Kusume Rumal, Saino and Chino. Similarly, under his production banner, Kajal Films, KC produced a number of movies, including block-busters like Nepali Babu and Karodpati.

During the programme, KC said, “I have dedicated my life to the Nepali film industry, and I know that my fans are eager to get a better picture of my personal and professional life. This book will help them know me better.” He also added that the book would be an inspiration for the new generation of Nepali actors who want to find their niche in the film industry.

The biography is slated to be released on April 5.
