R&B legend Diana Ross is reportedly giving her son Evan the wedding present of a lifetime by performing when he marries singer Ashlee Simpson.

The couple is likely to walk down the aisle in August, and Simpson’s soon-to-be mother-in-law will take on the role of wedding singer, reports a source. The source also reveals that Diana will be joined on stage by her daughter Rhonda Ross Kendrick. Evan and Ashlee will reportedly exchange vows at one of his mother’s sprawling mansions either here or in Connecticut, and fellow music legends Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson are expected to be among the guests.

This will be actor Evan’s first wedding and the second for Ashlee, who was married to Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz from 2008 to 2011. She has a six-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli, with the rocker. (IANS)
