Applications for Miss Universe Nepal 2026 have opened, with organisers inviting Nepali women from across the country and abroad to compete for the national title and represent Nepal at the global Miss Universe pageant.

Global Glamour Venture announced the opening of applications during a launch event held at The Soaltee Kathmandu on Thursday, unveiling the audition process for the upcoming edition.

The pageant will be held under the theme “Be You. Be Beautiful.”, which organisers said aims to celebrate authenticity, confidence and individuality. They said the competition will seek women who demonstrate talent, intelligence, confidence and the ability to represent Nepal on an international platform.

The official auditions are scheduled for August 1, while the grand finale will be held on September 6 at The Soaltee Kathmandu.

“Preparations for this year’s competition have been made on an even larger scale,” said Miss Universe Nepal National Director Sangeeta Puri.

According to organisers, the competition will be open to both married and unmarried women, following the eligibility criteria adopted by the Miss Universe Organisation. Non-Resident Nepali women living abroad are also eligible to participate.

The announcement comes after Sanya Adhikari won the Miss Universe Nepal 2025 title. The organisers said the 2026 edition aims to provide a platform for women to showcase their identity, leadership skills and commitment to social causes.

The choreography for this year’s pageant will again be led by choreographer Prashant Tamrakar.

Sabi Puri, CEO of Global Glamour Venture, said the organisers want to continue raising the standard of beauty pageants in Nepal by focusing on personal growth and empowerment.

Electric vehicle brand Deepal has joined the event as the title presenter, while X-Age and Amrit Pure Sunflower Oil are the co-sponsors. Representing title sponsor MAW Vriddhi, Managing Director Bibek Sikaria said the partnership would support one of Nepal’s major beauty platforms.

Eligible candidates can submit applications through the official Miss Universe Nepal platform or the Miss Universe Nepal mobile application, according to organisers.
