Fog and mist will persist until midday in parts of the Terai on Monday, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will remain mainly clear.

Tonight, haze is likely in a few places in the Terai. Koshi and Gandaki’s hilly and mountainous areas will remain partly cloudy, with a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountains of Gandaki.

The country is under the partial influence of westerly winds.
