The Meteorological Forecasting Division said fog is likely in some parts of the Tarai on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the division, generally cloudy conditions are expected in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of light snowfall or rain at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of these provinces.

At night, fog is likely at a few places in the Tarai. The weather will be partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country is expected to remain mainly clear.

The division said there remains a chance of light snowfall or rain at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
