Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places of Koshi Province and at one or two places of the hilly regions of the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The Division said the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi Province and the hilly regions, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions.

There are also chances of light rainfall or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.

Tonight, partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected in Koshi and Sudur Pashchim provinces. Other regions are likely to remain partly cloudy to mainly fair.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim provinces. Light rainfall or snowfall is also possible at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

The Division said that westerly and local winds are currently affecting the western and central parts of the country, while most areas of Koshi Province are under the influence of monsoonal winds.
