The weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy across the country today, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

In the afternoon, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places of the hilly areas of Koshi, Sudurpaschim, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and at one or two places in the rest of the country. Light rainfall or snowfall is also possible at a few places in the high-hill and mountainous regions of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at one or two places elsewhere.

During the night, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected at a few places in Koshi Province and at one or two places in Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and other hilly regions. One or two places in the high-hill and mountainous areas may also experience light rain or snowfall.
