The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the current weather conditions in Nepal are being influenced by western and local winds, along with moisture-laden air from the Bay of Bengal.
This afternoon, partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions, including Lumbini Province, while the rest of the country will witness mainly fair weather.
There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas. Light snowfall is also likely at a few places in the high-hill and mountainous regions.
According to the division, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, along with other hilly areas, will see partly to generally cloudy skies, while other areas are likely to remain mostly clear.
