The weather is forecast to be partly to generally cloudy in Karnali Province along with high hilly regions and partly cloudy to mainly fair throughout the country on Saturday.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two areas of the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

Likewise, gusty wind is expected at one or two places in Lumbini Province and Karnali Province, and Sudur Pashchim Province.

Tonight, it will be partly to generally cloudy in the Koshi with chances of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning.

Dhangadi experienced the hottest day in the country with temperatures rising to 40.7 degrees Celsius while Jumla recorded a minimum temperature of 10.7 degrees Celsius.
