The National Youth Federation Nepal, a wing of the CPN-UML, took out a torch rally in the Capital on Friday demanding action against those involved in the latest gold smuggling case.
They alleged that the government was conspiring to protect the mastermind by arresting only the carriers.
The demonstrators held placards with slogans demanding arrest of all those involved in the case.
A total of 10 persons have so far been arrested on the charge of smuggling the yellow metal weighing around 100 kg through the Tribhuvan International Airport.
