Dahal-Nepal faction holds rallies and mass gathering in Kathmandu
As part of its second phase of protest against Oli’s House dissolution move, the faction has brought people from different parts of the country.

As part of its second phase of protests against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s December 20 decision to dissolve the House of Representatives, the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party on Wednesday took out rallies from various parts of Kathmandu, which later converged at Pradarshani Marg for a mass meeting.
The Dahal-Nepal faction’s mass gathering comes days after the Oli faction held a mass gathering on Friday.
Rallies from Pulchowk, Tripureshwor, Maitighar, Keshar Mahal, Tri-Chandra College marching towards Pradarshani Marg had thrown Kathmandu traffic out of gear earlier in the day. People from different parts of the country have been brought to Kathmandu for the mass gathering.
The Dahal-Nepal faction has been opposing Oli’s House dissolution move, calling it unconstitutional and undemocratic.
