Kathmandu

The Nepal Army Shree Birendra Hospital in Chhauni, Kathmandu, will offer out-patient services to the public from February 24. The hospital’s out-patient department will cater to the public between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm.

Besides, the NA has also agreed to offer health care services to the public from

24 places across the country and put its mobile hospitals to use for health camps with speciality care in support of Nepal Medical Association. The Health Ministry will be supporting the Army hospital to improve its services and facilities.

Health Minister Gagan Thapa said the agreement with the NA was part of the government plan to stop the trend of politicians and public figures visiting abroad for state-funded treatments and medical examinations.
