Kantipur Television turns 13
Kantipur Television (KTV) marked its 12th anniversary on Tuesday.He said that KTV’s second channel, Kantipur Gold, was launched as per the need of the society.
“The channel launched during a period of crisis will be made sophisticated in the coming days,” he said.
KTV Director Upendra Mahato stressed for the need of utilising media power to build a prosperous nation.
KTV Director Ganesh Agrawal vowed to take KTV to a new height in the days ahead.
KTV Assistant General Manager Bhusan Dahal said the television’s programmes will be made more standard.
On the occasion, KTV honoured nine staffers for their outstanding performance. Sraddha Aryal and Pashupati Budhathoki from the news department; Tek Raj Joshi, KTV’s Kailali district correspondent; Laxman Poudel from the production department; Lokesh Bajracharya from the graphics department; Raj Maharjan from the engineering department; Laxman Pudasaini from the account department; and Raja Ram Raut from the transport department were awarded. Similarly, this year’s MD Surprise Award went to the news department.
