Elderly couple found dead in Kanchanpur forest

An elderly couple was found dead in the Janajagaran Community Forest in ward 9 of Punarbas Municipality, Kanchanpur.
According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 68-year-old Sagram Bhul and his 66-year-old wife Gangadevi Bhul were discovered dead.
Superintendent of Police Chakra Raj Joshi said the couple had left their home on April 24 following a family dispute, reportedly heading towards the wife’s parental home. After they could not be contacted, the family lodged a missing persons report at the Tribhuvan Basti Area Police Office the next day.
SP Joshi said the couple was found on Monday evening, each hanging from separate trees with shawls, in the middle of the community forest.
