Kantipur TV, ekantipur to broadcast National Futsal League live

Kantipur Television and ekantipur.com have acquired exclusive broadcasting rights of the 'A' Division National Futsal League finals set to be held from May 15 to 26 at the Pokhara Multipurpose Covered Hall.
All 49 matches of the tournament including 45 round robin and four knockout (eliminator) games will be broadcast live through various platforms of Kantipur Media Group. Kantipur Television, ekantipur.com and its youtube channel will broadcast the matches live.
The football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) earlier signed the agreement for marketing promotion and event management of the tournament with Turnpike Events Private Limited.
Turnpike Events on Wednesday signed the memorandum of understanding for live broadcast of the Futsal League with Kantipur Television and ekantipur.com. ANFA's Futsal Committee coordinator Ratna Kumar Shrestha, Kantipur Television broadcasting director Suraj Singh Thakuri and Turnpike chief executive Ukesh Lohani signed the MoU.
ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa said they were pleased to join hands with the Kantipur family for the futsal tournament. "Nepali futsal will definitely take a stride along with the successful organisation of the tournament," said Sherpa.
The tournament finals will feature 10 teams selected through regional qualifiers. Top four teams will be picked from Bagmati provincial qualifiers, two each from Province 1 and Gandaki Province, one from Province 2 while there will be a single joint team from Provinces 5 and 6 and Sudurpaschim Province, according to ANFA.
The participating teams of the finals will get Rs100,000 each from the football governing body as preparatory fees and each team should consist of 14 players and one coach, manager and physiotherapists.
The winners of the tournament will get Rs 1 million and the runners up half the amount. The best goalkeeper, defender, winger, emerging player and best coach of the tournament would get Rs 25,000 each. The man-of-the-match of each game would get Rs 5,000.
