Nepal's medal tally reaches 165 with 45 golds

Gaurika Singh wins gold in swimming
Nepal's swimming sensation Gaurika Singh bagged her third gold medal in the 13th SAG on Sunday. She won the women's 400m freestyle with the timing of four minutes and 25.28 seconds.
Singh also secured a silver medal in 50m backstroke.
Similarly, Duwana Lama secured a silver medal for Nepal in women's 200m butterfly.
Devika Khadka wins gold in Judo
Devika Khadka won the first gold medal in Judo for Nepal in the 13th SAG. she achieved the glory in women's under 52kg category on Sunday.
Nepal settle for a bronze in the women's volleyball
Nepal women’s beach volleyball team of Binita Budhathoki and Nebika Chaudhary secured a bronze medal in women’s beach volleyball at the 13th South Asian Games.
The duo edged home team’s Kopila Upreti and Manisha Chaudhary 21-12, 19-21, 16-14 in the third-place playoff match to secure a bronze medal in Pokhara on Sunday.
The two teams of hosts competed for the bronze after finishing runners up in their respective groups. The group winners — both teams of Sri Lanka — automatically secured final berths.
The men’s volleyball teams crashed out from the group stage. The men’s final will also be all-Sri Lankan affair.
The beach volleyball is included in the South Asian Games for the first time. Teams from Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives have participated in both men's and women's event while the teams from Pakistan and Bangladesh also took part in men's category.
