English Premier League could see its winner at Stamford Bridge when defending champions Chelsea square off against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.
After 10 months of nerve-riveting, adrenaline-pumping and fairytale-come-true stuff, Leicester City are inches away from claiming their first ever EPL title with two rounds of the league yet to be completed.
Tottenham, eight points adrift Leicester, travel to Chelsea with an aim to end their 23-year winless drought at Stamford Bridge and halt Leicester’s title celebration for at least a week. A Chelsea victory would ensue nostalgic ramification for the defending champions though. It would deny Tottenham, their rival any outside chance of a league triumph while handing Leicester the title. But Chelsea would have to give their former boss Claudio Ranieri a Guard of honor at Stamford Bridge on May 11.
Chelsea languish at 10th position after a woeful season while Tottenham sit firmly at second with an outside chance of Premier League glory.
