Man dies from electrocution in Bardiya
Police said the man, who was seriously injured after falling off the pole, died in the course of treatment.bookmark

A 50-year-old man from Katarnia in ward 9 of Barbardiya Municipality, Bardiya, died from electrocution on Wednesday.
According to the District Police Office, Gopal Tharu got an electric shock while climbing a power pole to install a meter at Bhupendra Ranabhat's house in ward 11 of Barbardiya.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Tulsi Ram Aryal said that Tharu, who was seriously injured after falling off the pole, died in the course of treatment.
“The police are investigating the incident,” he said.
