A 10-year-old boy died after being hit by a tipper in Dharan-Dhankuta section of the Koshi Highway on Tuesday.
According to the police, local Naresh Bishwokarma’s son died on the spot after being hit by the vehicle at around 8:45 am in Charkhole of Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-6.
Tipper driver Saroj Subba has been taken into police custody and further investigation into the matter is underway.
