Three examinees were expelled from two different exam centres of the ongoing Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in Diktel Rupakot Majuwagadhi Municipality on Friday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Khadka of Khotang District Police Office, two students from Jankalyan Secondary School and one from Jalpa Secondary School were expelled after they were found cheating in the exam with the help of smartphones.
The students are in police custody only for questioning.
The seized mobile phones will be returned to the students after the conclusion of the exam, said Khadka.
