The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, Winston Peters, will undertake an official visit to Nepal from May 28 to 29, according to a press release issued by Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Peters will pay courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the ministry stated. He will also engage in a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba.
The ministry highlighted the significance of the occasion, noting: “It is the first ever visit by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of New Zealand to Nepal.”
