Two workers go missing in Trishuli river

Two people went missing after being swept away while taking bath in the Trishuli river near a suspension bridge at Kurintar, ward 4 of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, in Chitwan, police said.
The missing are 21-year-old Shankar Chaudhary of Bansara in ward 2 of Geruwa Rural Municipality in Bardiya, and Saurabh Tharu, 22, of Rajapur Municipality. Both were working at the Super Trishuli Hydropower Project.
A team of divers from the Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar, was deployed for the search on Saturday.
The search operation continued until Saturday evening, but they were not found. The Armed Police Force said the search will resume on Sunday.
