Nepal, China contractor associations sign MoU to enhance collaboration

The China International Contractors Association and the Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote collaboration in the construction sector.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between member enterprises of both organisations in Nepal and other countries.
Key points outlined in the MoU include promoting business cooperation, improving training standards for Nepali construction workers, sharing information on construction projects and labour markets, and fostering exchanges through various forums and events.
Additionally, the agreement will allow Chinese investors to showcase investment opportunities in Nepal at the annual International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum organised by the China International Contractors Association.
