TU’s free student union elections see 68 percent voter turnout on Tuesday
In the Kathmandu Valley, elections were not held at 11 out of 22 campuses.

The election for the Free Student Union (FSU) was held on Tuesday at nearly 300 affiliated campuses under Tribhuvan University, including 38 constituent campuses.
According to the central monitoring and coordination committee for the FSU elections, an estimated 65 percent of students participated in the voting.
However, elections could not be conducted at 18 constituent campuses, and Tribhuvan University has directed that elections be held at these campuses soon.
In the Kathmandu Valley, elections were not held at 11 out of 22 campuses. The campuses in Kathmandu where elections were not conducted include RR, Tri-Chandra, Patan, Padmakanya, Amrit Science, Saraswati, Public Youth, and University Campus.
The election also could not take place at the Prithvi Narayan Campus in Pokhara. Elections for Prithvi Narayan Campus are scheduled for Wednesday, while elections for Padmakanya and University Campus are set for Thursday and Friday, respectively.
