President Ramchandra Paudel on Tuesday congratulated Donald J. Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States.
In a post on X Paudel wrote, “My warm felicitations to H.E. Mr. Donald J. Trump for assuming the office as the 47th President of the United States of America and my best wishes for the successful tenure.”
President Paudel also expressed optimism about the future of Nepal-US relations, stating, “I hope the cordial relations, subsisting between Nepal and the United States, will be further deepened and expanded in the days to come.”
Trump was sworn in as the 47th US President on Monday.
