Two workers died after being buried by a mud mound in ward 5 of Gharapjhong Rural Municipality-5 in Mustang district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhojraj Pandey, chief of Mustang District Police Office, Hom Bahadur Budhathoki, 23, of Sarlahi and Ravi Darlami Magar, 22, of Dang, died on the spot after they were buried by the mud mound at a monastery.
The bodies were retrieved with the assistance of security personnel and sent to Jomsom District Hospital for postmortem.
The police said they have informed the relatives of the deceased about the incident, and the bodies will be handed over to them once they arrive.
