A fire broke out at Om and OMAX movie theatre at Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-4 on Wednesday.

The fire is yet to be brought under control and firefighters working to douse the inferno.

A fire engine of the Hetauda Sub-Metropolis is being used to control the fire while another fire truck has been called from Simara, Bara.

Police have suspected that an electric short-circuit inside the movie hall might have caused the fire.

Meanwhile, the extent of damages caused by the fire at the 400-seater theatre built seven years ago, is yet to be ascertained.
