A man was found dead of suspected hypothermia in Chandrauta, Kapilvastu, on Sunday.
The deceased man, who used to beg for a living, was found dead by locals in the morning.
There is a high chance that he might have died of hypothermia since he was sleeping outside without warm clothes, said Police Inspector Jhabindra Bhattarai.
In Banke, cold wave coupled with dense fog has hit the daily life for the past four days.

The local administration has urged the people in Banke to wrap up warm and try to remain indoors if possible.
Cold wave has also paralysed the daily life in Saptari. Biting cold has mostly affected the people from impoverished communities like Musahar, Dom and Chamar.
Surya Narayan Mandal, chief of Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality, said many children and elderly people from the impoverished communities do not have warm clothes and blankets to stay warm.
