It took 19 years to complete the Limi-Lapcha-Simikot road, he added. The road connectivity with Tibet has become a cause for celebration for the Humla residents.
They can now easily take their produces to Tibetean market and transport essential goods from Tibet to Humla. Lawmaker Rita Shahi said now the Hilsa-Simikot road must be upgraded to speed up development works in Humla. The Hilsa-Simikot road is about 95 km.
