A team of government representatives is holding talks with TUTH senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC's team at the Education Ministry in Kathmandu.
Dr Jiwan Chhetri, aide to Dr KC, informed that the meeting took place after the release of 31 supporters of the agitating doctor, who were held during a protest in the Capital on Saturday.
The government team includes Secretary at the Ministry of Education Shanta Bahadur Shrestha and Secretary at the Ministry Health Senendra Upreti.
While Dr KC is being represented by Dr YP Singh, Dr Ranjan Sapkota, Dr Sagar Pokharel and National Resident Doctors Association Chairman Lijan Maharjan.
Today is the 15th day of the 10th hunger strike of Dr KC seeking reforms in the medical education and service sector.
