The number of students injured in a road accident at Kaluwapur of Jhalaripipaladi-11 in Kanchanpur today climbed to 17.

A bus (Ma 1 Kha 607) of Chandra Surya Boarding School met with an accident while a tipper truck was trying to overtake it, police said.

Of the injured receiving treatment at Jhalari- based Medical Clinic, preparations were underway to refer seriously injured to elsewhere for further treatment, health workers involved in their treatment said. A search was on to arrest the absconding driver, police said. RSS
