Two persons were killed in a road accident at Kankai Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway in the district om Monday morning.
The accident took place when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 3596) heading to west from the east hit a motorbike (Me 5 Pa 3853) coming from the opposite direction, police said.
The deceased are Til Bikram Thebe, 57, and Agni Bhetwal, 60, of the same municipality-3. According to police, Thebe and Bhetwal were travelling on the bike.
Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle. RSS
