CoAS Chhetri receives Title of Honorary Indian General
Indian President Pranab Mukherjee has conferred the title of the honorary Indian General on Nepal's Chief of Army Staff, Rajendra Chhetri.

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee has conferred the title of the honorary Indian General on Nepal's Chief of Army Staff, Rajendra Chhetri.
CoAS Chhetri was given the rank insignia amidst a special ceremony organized at the Rastrapati Bhawan in New Delhi, India on Wednesday. It is in line with the tradition of exchanging honorary titles between chiefs of army in Nepal and India since 1950.
Meanwhile, honoured CoAS Chhetri is to host a dinner on Wednesday itself, said Nepal Army's Directorate of Public Relations.
Chhetri is scheduled to visit Army War College of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. RSS
