10 injured in jeep-truck collision on Siddhartha Highway
At least ten people were injured when a truck and a jeep collided at Jarepipal along Bartung-Butwal road section of the Siddhartha Highway on Monday.

At least ten people were injured when a truck and a jeep collided at Jarepipal along Bartung-Butwal road section of the Siddhartha Highway on Monday.
The accident occurred when a Butwal-bound truck (Lu 1 Ka 950) collided with a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 1585) heading towards Burtuwang, Baglung from Butwal.
District Traffic Police Chief Pravin Acharya informed that two of the ten injured passengers are in serious condition. Acharya further said that the injured are receiving medical treatment at Prabas-based Lumbini Medical College.
As per the preliminary investigation, the police have suspected that the accident occurred due to over-speeding.
