Two siblings died of snakebite at Ghorahi Municipality-7 in the district on Saturday night. Chetan Malla, 12, and his sister Banjita, 9, died of snakebite. They were rushed to hospital after they drooled and vomited at around midnight. Dambar Malla, the victims' father, said Banjita died on her way to hospital while Chetan died during treatment at Rapti Sub-regional Hospital.
