Poudel ‘murderers’ made public
The Police on Thursday made public nine persons involved in the murder of Nepali Congress leader of Lekhnath Municipality in Kaski, Ramji Poudel (Badal).

The Police on Thursday made public nine persons involved in the murder of Nepali Congress leader of Lekhnath Municipality in Kaski, Ramji Poudel (Badal). They have been arrested due to their alleged involvement in the killing of Poudel on August 13.
Prakash Gurung, chairman of Tarun Dal of Lekhnath-12, Biswas Gautam, Ashok Gurung and Coordinator of Tarun Dal of Lekhnath-16 Raju Ranabhat were made public, police confirmed.
Police held five others who assisted the suspects in murdering Poudel. According to police, Chandra Bahadur Thapa Magar of Suklagandaki-3 in Tanahun, Bharat Paudel of Nawalparasi, Min Bahadur Ghale,
Rabin Chhetri of Gaidakot and Birendra Kumar Rana Magar of Rupandehi helped the suspects to murder Poudel. Superintendent of Police (SP) Hari Bahadur
Pal said the gang has a network in performing criminal activities.
The Police claimed that Poudel’s murder was premeditated. The suspects confessed that they had planned to kill Poudel, SP Pal said. However, some main suspects are still at large, SP Pal added.
