Woman missing in Panauti after being swept away by stream

A woman has gone missing after being swept away by a swollen stream in ward 5 of Panauti Municipality, Kavrepalanchok.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale, spokesperson for the District Police Office Kavrepalanchok, 33-year-old Renuka Giri, wife of local resident Rajesh Giri, was swept away by the Dhalmale Thado stream near Subba village around 6pm on Monday while returning home from work in her field.
Following the incident, teams from the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Army have been deployed for a search operation. However, she remains missing as of the latest update.
