Two more dead from Sunday’s jeep accident
Two people, who were injured in an accident at the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani road section in Makwanpur on Sunday, succumbed to death on Sunday night.

Kanak Bahadur Thapa, 60, of Pepsicola in Kathmandu, and Aparita KC, 32, died while undergoing treatment in a Kathmandu-based hospital, said SP Ganesh Bahadur Aire.
Prior to this, Ghanshyam Bista, 50, of Sarlahi district had died on the spot. Similarly, ten others were injured in the accident.
The ill-fated jeep (Na 1 Ja 4255) was heading towards Kathmandu from Malangawa, Sarlahi when the accident took place. The jeep had fallen 100 feet down the road near Kulekhani Dam.
The injured were rushed to Kathmandu for treatment. Critically injured, Chandrakala Bista, is receiving treatment at B & B Hospital while another Dipendra Jha is referred to Teaching Hospital, said police. The other injured in the accident have been receiving treatment at Lalitpur based Megha Hospital.
