The British College (TBC) said it is now a member of the Greening Education Partnership, a global initiative under the guiding framework of UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
This partnership supports countries in addressing the climate crisis through education, aiming to bring about the personal and societal transformation necessary to change course.
This prestigious accolade has been awarded to TBC for its exemplary work on the BBA: Innovate for Impact (IFI) project, underscoring the institution’s unwavering commitment to green education and sustainability.
With this recognition, TBC can access UNESCO’s extensive resources, including knowledge bases, event participation, and mentorship opportunities.
Sunita Basnet, Head of the Sustainability Unit and the BBA: Innovate for Impact project, expressed her gratitude, saying, “This achievement is a testament to our collaborative approach as a school. The entire institution shares a common vision of sustainability and green education, and together, we will celebrate this significant milestone as we further cement our role in promoting sustainability.”
