Ncell is sponsoring the 16th Durbarmarg street festival to be held on April 15 at Durbarmarg, Kathmandu. ‘Ncell Presents Purple Saturday’ is being organised with the theme ‘Nepali production our pride, civilisation and culture and preserving it our duty.’ 

The festival will be held in the area from Mahendrashalik in the south of Durbarmarg to the gate of Narayanhiti Museum in the north. The one-day street festival will begin with a performance reflecting the culture of Kathmandu Valley.

Various performances and fun activities will be held throughout the day, according to a press statement from Ncell. 

There will be food stalls and handicraft items will also be on display. 

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Durbarmarg Development Board and the Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal are jointly organising the street festival with special cooperation and main sponsorship from Ncell. (PR)
