Dahal poorest PM after Sushil Koirala

According to the details submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), PM Dahal does not own any property in his name. PM Dahal's only property is one Kattha (1 Kattha =338.57 meter Square) of ancestral land in Chitwan and three Tola of gold, both of which is owned by his spouse Sita Dahal.
The details put on the website of OPMCM makes Dahal the poorest PM after Sushil Koirala. Former PM and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala, who passed away in February earlier this year, only owned three mobile phones to his name, according to the property details submitted by him.
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Bimalendra Nidhi is much richer than the PM owing 60 Tola gold and 150 Tola of silver. The details, which is signed by the DPM, states the gold and silver was received as dowry.
DPM Nidhi also owns one Ropani (1 Ropani = 508.74 square meter) of land in Katunje purchased at Rs 1.25 million. Another six Aana (1 Aana= 31.79 square meter) of land, also in Katunje, Bhaktapur, was purchased at Rs. 1.35 million. The NC leader also has three Aana of land in Katunje.
Nidhi also owns 19 Bigha (1 Bigha =1,618.7 square metres) of land in Tarai region and has Rs. 2.9 million as bank balance. He owns Rs. 1,096,825, which has not been deposited at bank due to time constraints.
Nidhi has a due amount of Rs 1.3 million and owns a Nissan van purchased nearly 20 years ago with Rs 700,000 and 2,160 general shares to his name.
Other DPM Krishna Bahadur Mahara has ancestral two-storey home and one-storey shed in Liwang-8, Rolpa. He has eight Ropani of unproductive dry slope in Liwang and Rs. 80,000 balance at Everest Bank.
