Debate Network Nepal (DNN) in collaboration with Bridgewater Debate Association is holding a shoe polish campaign for social cause in the Capital from last Friday. The campaign will conclude on Saturday.

The funds collected from the campaign will be spent on sports and stationary materials for earthquake-affected people and other needy communities. The funds will also be used for providing career counseling and public debating workshop.

The campaign is being organised at City Centre, K.L Tower, Bhatbhateni and Basantapur Durbar Square Area with the theme “Shine your shoes, Polish their future, Strengthen debate movement”

Raj Kharel, executive member of DNN, informed that each day they are getting around 45 students as volunteers. He also added that they are getting many positive responses from all the way. "Most people donate money without polishing their shoes," said Kharel.

The campaign collected Rs53,000 in its first two days, according to co-founder and Chair of DNN, Pradeep Raj Ghimire.
