Saudi-based hospital doc pays Rs15m medical bill for Nepali worker

A doctor at Saudi Arabia-based Saudi German Hospital has paid the medical fee of a Nepali migrant worker amounting to Rs 15 million (510,000 Riyal).
Dr Mohammad Yahaya, physician of Som bahadur Magar of Lamjung, took the responsibility of paying the medical expenses, according to Hum Bahadur Sunari Magar who was taking care of Som Bahadur.
Som Bahadur was receiving treatment at the hospital for Paralysis on the right half of his body caused by diabetes and High Blood pressure.
Magar was sent back to Nepal with the help of Saudi capital Riyadh-based Nepal Embassy on Sunday.
“Dr Yahaya’s gesture to pay the bills that was due for three months and being present at the reception while discharging Magar has struck a chord,” said Hum Bahadur talking to The Post, “Dr Yahaya also provided wheelchair to the SOm Bahadur.”
Som Bahadur had sustained serious head injuries after he fell unconscious at the washroom. He was then rushed to the hospital and admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He was receiving medical treatment at the hospital for the past three months and ten days.
