Google has once again created a special doodle to mark Nepal’s ninth Republic Day.
The link on the Doodle takes one to a list of republic day related links that explain Nepal’s Republic Day.
The doodle has Nepali national bird Danphe (Lophophorus) along with ‘GOOGLE’ written in crimson and blue colours, the colour of Nepali national flag.
‘The landscape is an appropriate metaphor for the history of a nation in which, despite great upheaval, peace prevails. We hope today's doodle by Alyssa Winans brings pride and joy to the people of Nepal,’ reads a part of the video by Google Doodles about Nepal Republic day 2016.
Google had dedicated a doodle to honour the resilience of Nepali people on the occasion of Nepal’s republic day last year as well.

Doodles are surprising and spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists. A team of illustrators—who are called doodlers—and engineers are behind each doodle.
