A private car accident at Bagmati River road near Tinkune on Friday has left two people injured. The accident took place on the opposite side of Simrik Airlines office.

Inspector Bhagirath Regmi at Traffic Police Office in Koteshwor said the car (Ba 6 Cha 399) plunged into the Bagmati River after losing control.

Two people inside the car have been identified as Kajal Jha, 23 and Nisha Jha, 18. They were taken to Kantipur Hospital immediately after the accident.

One killed in Tinkune motorcycle accident

Also, a fatal accident in Tinkune this morning claimed a life of one 28-year-old Pradeep Karki. He was riding a motorcycle (Ba 64 Pa 6711) when a bus (Ba 2 Kha 5009) struck him down.
