Kathmandu
Around 500 Nepali residing in South Korea gathered at Seoul Station and protested the unofficial blockade imposed by India upon Nepal.
Nepalis carried various placards and blamed India of breaching Nepal’s right to free transit. Various Nepali organisations also took part in the protest.
Nepalis also tried to submit a memorandum to Indian embassy in Korea after the protest. Their memorandum, however, was not accepted by the embassy. They chanted ‘Back Off India’ slogans after the embassy rejected their memo.
The protesting Nepalis said they will sent the memorandum through the mail to the embassy.
